Overdraft Privilege:  SDPECU now offers checking accountholders in good standing the added benefit of Overdraft Privilege. Overdraft Privilege is a courtesy overdraft protection plan that covers checking account shortages when you write a check, withdraw from an ATM, make a debit card purchase, or pay bills electronically without the funds available to cover the expense. The benefit to you is you’ll save the hassle of “bouncing” a check and the expense of incurring non-sufficient fund fees. With Overdraft Privilege, you’ll pay only the standard Returned Draft fee of $28 per check covered with no special handling fees, no interest charges, and no merchant charges.
