How Do Shared Branches Work?
Through National Shared Branching, SDPECU members can visit participating credit unions to conduct financial transaction similar to those available in SDPECU branches.  Because Shared Branch locations are electronically connected, your transactions are electronically posted back to your SDPECU account.

www.co-opfs.org.  The following are some of the most common questions members have asked about Shared Branching:

Question:  Do I have to show an ID at a Shared Branch location?
Answer:  Yes, you must present a valid ID.

Question:  Are there fees for using Shared Branches?
Answer:  Deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments are subject to the fees of the other institution.

Question:  Are there withdrawal limits at Shared Branches?
Answer:  Yes.  Withdrawal limits vary based on the rules of the financial institution you visit.

Question:  Can I get Corporate Checks at a Shared Branch?
Answer:  Yes, but they are subject to fees.  You may continue to get three free Corporate Checks monthly by calling or visiting an SDPECU branch, but there will be a fee charged if the Corporate Checks are mailed to you.

Question:  What are check hold requirements at Shared Branches?
Answer:  Transactions are subject to the Check Hold Requirements of the participating institution, and may vary from those of SDPECU.
